Jesse, Josh and I stopped in New York for a quick
glimpse of the Rockefeller Center Christmas
tree before heading to Connecticut for Meet the
Parents
weekend. Jay’s condo was fantastic!!!! Rob was the
perfect
host.
Jeff was an
awesome
NYC d
rive-by tour guide.
And
Allen… he’s cute enough to eat. We went to a great dinner in the Theatre District,
had drinks at Don’t Tell Momma - a wonderful piano bar in Manhattan and saw Times Square at 1:00 AM. Partying like a Rock Star takes it’s
toll Josh felt like crap and stayed in for the evening. Poor Allen. Maybe next trip. Woke up early and had breakfast at Moonstruck and rented a car to head for Connecticut.
Guess who's comming to dinner Gracie?
It snowed just the right amount and the drive was beautiful Jesse’s mom cooked a great dinner and Gracie May was in great form, Jase finally made it after PhD presentation preparations and road closures. I got to spend a lot of quality time with the Family. Hannah, Mom and I played Hide the Darkie
(thanks, Josh!) and took Gracie shopping and sightseeing
in town on Saturday morning while Jess and Josh went to see Gram Bam!! We met up in the afternoon and enjoyed the day together.
We went to dinner
in the evening
(thanks Dad and Jase) and saw “The Creche” art exhibit from a local artist that was a teacher at Jesse & Josh's high school. Creepy-cool statues made out of Paper Mache stuff.
Had breakfast Sunday morning and rushed off to JFK to return Home. I can’t wait to go back!!!
