Orbit Chair Weekend

David and I found these really cool mod chairs at our favorite little shop. Pier!1 introduced them last year. They were inspired by this little beauty, The Swan Chair. They're super comfortable and don't come in Dream blue anymore.. Score!!! I agonized over weather or not to sell them. Fortunately David convinced me that it was a must keep. Thank you David. They'll make for great extra seating on the patio in the summer of 2007. Thanks Marlene for the delicious Memorial Day feast!!

When angels slaughter

I took a few hours off from work today to see the California Angels play the Cleveland Indians. It wasn’t much of a game. 6th inning, Angels 8,Indians 0. I really don’t know why people pay money for these things you’re like a sitting duck. The woman two rows directly in front of me took a pop fly foul ball right in the head. Across the way behind first base a poor guy got a line drive in the jaw. I had to really concentrate on the game just to avoid getting hit.

Introduced Spring 2007 Permanently discontinued six weeks later. What's up with that west elm? Little slip and slide action going on there? I’m sorry to see them go. They were a cool idea, Perhaps we can try again next year with anchors.

Steve came downfrom Sacramento this weekend. Great fun was had by all.

We watched the Kentucky derby Ghetto style with do-rags and scarves, Mint Juleps, purple and white ballons to match our Jocky's Jersey Liquidity was our pick but fourth place didn't pay. Although Steve had good intincts with Hard Spun. Later we did a pub crawl in longbeach, Flux, Pistons, The Crest, Mineshaft, The Brit and ended the evening at The Silver fox. Rafi was the designated driver so needless to say we all really cut loose.
