david says...

How time has flown since we last blogged. That is one of the things I dislike most about the holiday season; that it always seems incredibly rushed. But boy was it fun!

A Christmas Elf showed up.......

The Elf decorated David's apartment - what's wrong with this picture?

Even Howie got into the Christmas Spirit...

B-Will was dispatched by his job at an insurance company to the scene of the California wildfires, so we got to go hang in San Diego for dinner on a Saturday night in December....

We got a kick out of the Pillow Menu in his hotel room...

December was COLD for Southern California - so Marlene curled into a papoose in the new papasan chair...

Orchids in December? That is one confused house plant...

Christmas Day was a riot, and we had way too much fun with Michael's big sister Donna....

This is Michael's mom, contemplating her next get-rich-quick scheme...

We went to Sacramento for New Year's Eve to visit Steve and B-Will, and stopped for a burger in Central California...

Michael was mortified at the insensitivity of some of the mementos for sale in the shop there....

We were pleased to be able to put a smile on Matt's face, since he had been having a downer of a holiday season...

He had to try out the lariat to see if he still had the skills to lasso himself a man...Michael volunteered for the practice run...

Steve and B-Will seemed happier than ever...

It was fun to get away for everyone...

But it was TOO cold up in Sacramento...BRRRR......

It was a great thing to be able to see Steve laughing...

...and doing a booty line dance on New Year's Eve...

B-Will gave David the best Christman present ever - a lambskin large enough to put on his couch back in SoCal - to match the one Michael gave him that goes in his reclining chair! Here he is testing it out to see if it will keep a naked person warm...

After we got back, we got to see Chuck in January...

And Marlene has been a PASTRY GODDESS the entire time. She baked and baked and baked some more. (I guess I should mention that Howie helped a lot).

We are ready for spring!!!!!!!!!

LOVE TO ALL from dave
