Balboa Island

Chuck and Anda Came over today. We went for coffee and appetizers at South Coast Winery then headed to Balboa Island. David had already left for his day at the beach. We planned on renting a boat and cruising around the harbor but we were ill prepared. The rental place was way busy and we needed a reservation. Guess the ferry trip would have to do for our water adventure. It was a beautiful day we walked on the beach. I didn’t want to miss the opportunity to have my feet in the Atlantic and the Pacific Ocean in the same week.
Hung out on the Pier and ate corndogs, yummy. We then went on a quest to find the perfect piece of meat!!
Chuck wanted to barbeque so we went to Mothers Market. No beef there but I scored some Acai berries for good health. We then headed over to Henrys and Chuck found a suitable slab. Well, three actually. Jack was underfoot so was gave him a light. He loves steak. Everyone chipped in. Jesse was on asparagus and mashed potatoes. David made his famous Argentinean salad. Of course Chuck was on the barbie and well, Anda and I chilled. Too many cooks in the kitchen just doesn't make sense. We did do the cleanup. We all listened to music and hung out, It was a perfect evening. Thanks everyone
