Dear Friends and Family,As most of you know, my 28-year old daughter, Erin, was diagnosed with an aggressive form of breast cancer last June. Since then, she has been fighting the fight, keeping herself positive and strong. Much of her strength has come from those who love her and people like you who continue to pray for her and send her positive energy. I thank each and every one of you for all the support you've shown me and Erin. Unfortunately, her battle continues and she still needs our help. So I'm asking one more time.I have recently accepted the challenge to support the Susan G. Komen Sacramento Race for the Cure® on May 12, 2007 to promote awareness and funds for the breast cancer movement.
The Komen Sacramento Race for the Cure generates money to support local grant programs that promote breast cancer education, screening, patient support and treatment. This year, I will be walking in honor of Erin, as well as several other women in my life who have been affected by breast cancer. . . people like Will's mom Pat, Belinda P., Trish F., and Michael R's sister in SoCal. So many have suffered and it's time to find the cure for this disease.
